The Foundation for Care Management is a 501c3 non-profit, tax-exempt foundation. It is governed and advised by an active distinguished board of healthcare professionals. The Foundation has offices in Vashon and Kirkland, Washington as well as Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Board of Directors

	Jeanette M. Dunn, RN, EdD, CNS Executive Director Vashon Island, Washington Clinical Nurse Specialist, educator, medical publisher, international lecturer, and nurse entrepreneur. Dr. Dunn has authored and published books on nutrition, newsletters, and research monographs. She has been involved in education of nurses and physicians for 30 years, has lectured in 22 countries, and set up schools of nursing in six.
	Stephen R. Yarnall, MD, FACP, FACC, CLL Medical Education Director Edmonds, Washington During his years in academic medicine where he trained as an invasive cardiologist and where he earned Fellowship in the American Colleges of Physicians and of Cardiology, Dr Yarnall also received an MS degree in Biostatistics with a thesis on “Mathematical Models for Prognosis”. He maintains a busy practice in Edmonds, focusing on Preventive Cardiology. His goal has been to link wisdom with wit and to make medical practice be practical with a focus on prevention.
	Carole A. Mutzebaugh, NP, EdD Nursing Education Director Colorado Springs, Colorado Carole has led a multi-faceted career in nursing as an educator, nurse practitioner, author, lecturer and caregiver. She views evidence-based continuing education for professionals as the only way to demonstrate new and continuing competency.
	George O. Gey, MD Chair of CME Committee Vashon Island, Washington Assistant Professor. University of Washington, Dept of Cardiology, Chair Health and Welfare Gold Card, Boeing Management Association. Associate of the American College of Cardiology, Member American College of Preventive Medicine, Member of the King County Medical Society, Member of the Washington State Medical Association, American Medical Asssociation, and American Association for the Advancement of Science.
	Thornton E. Bryan, Jr. MD Cadiz, Kentucky Family Physician, Professor of Family Medicine, retired. Dr Bryan had a rural family practice for fifteen years followed by academic family medicine for eighteen years at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis and the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
PHOTO UNAVAILABLE	Roger Olsson, MD Edmonds, Washington Graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in 1975. Dr. Olsson is Board certifified in the American Board of Family Practice. He has been a family physician in the Edmonds Family Medicine Clinic. His professional interests include electrotherapy rehabilitation and voice recognition for computerized offices and clinics.
	Peter Kudenchuk, MD, FACP, FACC Seattle, Washington Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology at the University of Washington. Dr Kudenchuk is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Critical Care Medicine, and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. He has received numerous awards for excellence in teaching and clinical practice, and recognition as being among the “Best Doctors” in Seattle and in America. His research interests pertain to resuscitation from cardiac arrest, and cardiac electrophysiology.
	Kasra Pournadeali, ND Edmonds, Washington Dr. Pournadeali (pour-na-deli) is director of the Northwest Center for Optimal Health in Marysville, Washington. He has been a healthcare provider since 1992, and is a graduate of Oklahoma and Bastyr University, where he serves as faculty. Dr. Pournadeali speaks & writes locally and nationally, is President of the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and is the only Naturopathic Doctor ever published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
	Brenda Garritson, MS, RD, LD Dallas, Texas Brenda has a BS degree in nutrition from Harding University and MS in nutrition from Texas Woman's University. She has numerous abstracts and publications of research on nutrition in HIV and cancer. She has served on the board of the Society of Nutritional Oncology Adjuvant Therapy. Brenda was recognized as the Nutrition Entrepreneur of the Year, 1995 by the American Dietetic Association, and 1995 Distinguished Alumnus award presented by Dallas Christian School.
	George Juetersonke, DO Colorado Springs, Colorado Dr. Juetersonke (jew-ter-son-key) is in private practice in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is author of the book “Passing on Bypass Using External Counter Pulsation: A FDA Cleared Alternative, to Treat Heart Disease Without Surgery or Drugs”. He is currently Clinical Assistant Professor, University of North Texas Health Science Center and Adjunct Associate Professor, Midwestern University College of Health Sciences, Downers Grove IL
	Gail Lasher, NP Everett, Washington Gail received her nursing diploma from St. Joseph' Hospital School of Nursing in Tacoma, WA. In 1976, she became a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. Gail practiced nursing for over thirty years at the Everett Clinic where she still works part-time. She remains active in the medical field and contributes to the educational activities of FCM, particulary in our evidence-based educational research.
	Fred Emmite, RPh Houston, Texas Pharmacist and Nutritionist Certified in Diabetes and Lipid Management by the National Boards of Pharmacy, Specialty in Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and other Insulin Resistance. Fred graduated from the University of Houston College of Pharmacy in 1977, and is the owner of Nature’s Pharmacy in Houston.
	Barbara Beeson, RN, PA-C Edmonds, Washington Physician Assistant with National Board Certification since graduating from the University of Washington, MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant Program, in Seattle, Washington in 1988. Presently working in a Primary Care Facility for Group Health Permanente in Family Medicine and Urgent Care. Barbara holds AAPA, WAPA membership.

He has been a community pharmacist for over 20 years who is concerned about patient care and education. To this end, he has spent the last fifteen years helping to educate the practitioner through continuing education programs.
