Physicians will experience hands-on clinical training in a state-of-the-art patient care facility and learn ways to incorporate age management medicine into a new or existing medical practice

Physicians who complete the training and who have met certain standards, and passed an examination demonstrating that he/she has the training and qualifications to practice age management medicine will be certified in age management medicine.
PART 1 – Module I: INTRODUCTION TO AGE MANAGEMENT MEDICINE & EXECUTIVE HEALTH EVALUATION

This portion of the course focuses on the scope of Age Management Medicine (AMM). It introduces the physician to the theory and practice of AMM including nutrition and exercise as used in AMM. It discusses preventive medicine including risk factors and the role of oxidation and inflammation in degenerative diseases. The module describes the evaluation of the aging adult including the laboratory panel.
The participant completes three learning modules prior to arrival at the course site using home study materials including test.
PART 1 – Module II: CLINICAL TRAINING IN AGE MANAGEMENT MEDICINE

Physicians will experience hands-on clinical training in a state-of-the-art patient care facility and acquire diagnostic and treatment skills necessary to incorporate Age Management Medicine into a new or existing practice. The participant will work alongside faculty becoming familiar with hands-on patient care. Patients in attendance at the training site will be the subjects for instruction, as well as those consulted during scheduled conference calls. The number of initial evaluations and follow-up phone consults will vary based on the scheduled patient flow on that given day.
Home study for this section of the training course is rigorous ( eight hours) and prepares the trainee to diagnose and treat patients. The entire home study is done on-line. The materials examine the signs and symptoms, pathophysiology, clinical diagnosis, and treatment of the aging adult.
CLINICAL PRACTICE DEVELOPMENT
No CME Credit
This section of the course is a business development module in which the physician will learn how to incorporate Age Management Medicine into an existing or new medical practice, utilizing proven business and management strategies. The course includes a 30 minute home study – Age Management Medicine Practice Development – with test. Trainees will be able to discuss the concepts learned during their 4.5 hour on-site clinical training.
PART 2 - PHYSICIAN TRAINING IN AGE MANAGEMENT MEDICINE
16 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™
The purpose of this course is to demonstrate competency in Age Management Medicine. This course consists of fifty questions covering basic science/clinical science and twenty real-life case studies, all with multiple-choice questions. In order to answer the case study questions, the participant must consider the complete patient history and be able to interpret the laboratory results, which accompany each case, based on the standardized dosing algorithm given during the formal training modules. The basic science/clinical science questions and case studies are given to the participant upon completion of Part 1 of the Physician Training at the learning site and are completed as a home study.
Upon successful completion of both Parts 1 and 2, the physician will be awarded the Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation certificate stating that the certificate holder has met certain standards and has passed an examination conducted by Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation and the Foundation for Care Management demonstrating to the satisfaction of CERF that he/she has the training and qualifications to practice age-management medicine.
