- Examine through case studies, discussion, and reflection best practices in the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care of patients with fibromyalgia.
- Describe the origins of pain and the best practices in the treatment of pain in fibromyalgia.
- Identify treatment strategies for depression, fatigue, and sleep problems in people with fibromyalgia.
- Apply best practice strategies to appropriately diagnose and treat patients with fibromyalgia, and manage them long-term, to improve patient outcomes.

Kathleen Davis MD
Biosketch
Dr. Kathleen Davis is a Board Certified internal medicine physician with over 20 years experience in clinical medicine, health education, and medical practice management. She has worked in various health care settings in the Untied States, Uganda, Guatemala and Laos . Dr. Davis earned her Diploma in Tropical Diseases and Hygiene from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine in 2007. From 1996-2005, she was a clinical attending and Co-director of Outpatient Graduate Medical Education for Madigan Army Medical Center . Presently she is a consultant in health education, and an attending physician at the Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic (Toppenish).
